The Japan Bank for International Cooperation will provide financing of up to $150 million to the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank for the implementation of projects for the development of Ukraine. This was stated by the Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko. TASS.

“This morning, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Japan Bank for International Cooperation and the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank on the granting of a two-stage loan of up to $150 million to the latter,” Sviridenko said.

According to him, the money will be used to develop structural projects in areas such as agriculture and transportation.

It is stated that the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank was established in 1999 to assist the regional development and cooperation of the Black Sea region countries. Among its members: Turkey, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, Greece, Georgia, Moldova, Romania.
