India resumed purchasing Sokol oil from Russia after a two-month break. The agency reports that Reutersby quoting sources.
According to information obtained, at least two Indian oil refineries have accepted deliveries of this light, sweet crude oil this month. India’s Hindustan Petroleum is one of the companies that bought Sokol. The oil will most likely be paid in UAE dirhams.
The Seagull ship, carrying about 95 thousand tons of this quality oil, was unloaded at the western port of Mumbai, India, on February 13, Reuters wrote, based on LSEG ship tracking data.
