The “architect” of anti-Russian sanctions returns to the White House

American economist Dalip Singh, who is known as the “architect” of sanctions against the Russian Federation, is returning to his post at the White House. The portal reports this axios.

Singh served as National Security Advisor to the President for International Economic Affairs from February 2021 to June 2022. He left his job due to family reasons.

Mike Pyle, who replaced Singh on an interim basis, will leave his post at the end of February.

According to the portal, the economist is expected to continue to help coordinate America’s position at the G7 and G20 summits, which will take place in June and November 2024, respectively.
