Rosselkhoznadzor asked the competent authorities of the countries of the European Union to strengthen control over roses supplied to the Russian Federation from Ecuador and the Netherlands due to numerous violations of phytosanitary requirements when supplying these flowers. This situation was stated by the ministry RIA News.
They said that Rosselkhoznadzor, in anticipation of seasonal spring arrivals before the holidays, appealed to the competent authorities of the EU states to prevent the entry and spread of quarantine objects containing contaminated flowers.
According to the Ministry, in the first months of this year, the detection of quarantine objects in Ecuadorian and Dutch roses, approved by government departments of European countries, became systematic.
