It is stated that resources operating under the guise of popular state lotteries have been blocked, including the illegal use of the Stoloto brand.

“We see that fraudulent activities decreased throughout the year and reached their lowest levels in the last three years. This shows that our efforts in the fight against cyber fraudsters are paying off. “We are also constantly working to inform citizens as it is one of the most important tools to prevent fraud,” he said.
As FACCT analysts note, the result of many years of joint work by the Stoloto team and cybersecurity experts has become a trend towards reducing the number of fake resources. Additionally, in 2023, there was a significant decrease in the number of fake resources operating under the name of popular state lotteries and/or illegally using the Stoloto brand, compared to 2022 indicators.
Stanislav Goncharov, head of FACCT’s Digital Risk Protection department, explained that fraud and phishing remain one of the most pressing cyber threats throughout 2023.
“Thanks to Stoloto taking a very responsible approach to protecting both its brand and its users, as a result of our joint work, the number of new sources of fraud has significantly decreased, and fraud schemes have almost completely disappeared with registration in the freenom free domain service.” – said.
In his opinion, the more effectively Stoloto fights digital crime, the faster fraud groups will lose interest in the brand, as they cannot earn a stable income.
