A Bentley Turbo R car belonging to a US citizen was seized in Crimea. This was reported by press service Federal Customs Service (FCS).

It was stated that the reason for the seizure was violation of the rules of import into the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

We are talking about a car produced in 1990. In 2015, a US citizen imported a car from Massachusetts through the Dzhankoy checkpoint (a city in the north of Crimea). According to the rules of temporary import, the vehicle had to be removed from Russian territory within a year or go through another customs procedure.

Customs officers found that the owner had left Russia and left the Bentley at the disposal of a trusted person in Crimea. The amount of debt for customs duties and penalties reached 4.6 million rubles.
