J’son & Partners call MTS a leader in ensuring digital security for subscribers 10:43

MTS has become a leader in the ranking of digital security services for users of Russia’s largest ecosystems and telecom operators. This is evidenced by data from the research company J’son & Partners Consulting.

In the study, company analysts compared eight Russian ecosystems and telecom operators with digital security services, including anti-spam services and services to protect against personal data leaks and monitor credit history.

As J`son & Partners notes, MTS offers the broadest range of products for digital customer protection.

The researchers also conducted an analysis of anti-spam services, as this is the most common and popular domain. In this segment, MTS’s offers also turned out to be the strongest – the ecosystem received 87 points out of 100. Experts who conducted load tests noted the effectiveness of detecting and blocking unwanted calls from MTS. It is stated that during testing, the Defender service identified 6 out of 8 possible test numbers. At the same time, its effectiveness was confirmed by representatives of companies conducting mass searches.

According to MTS Defender product director Andrey Biychuk, more than 40 million of the company’s subscribers use its security products.

“The anti-fraud system, in which the virtual assistant works to warn subscribers about spam calls, does not copy the solution of the Anti-Fraud Group of Companies (a node for interaction with operator systems to replenish the database of fake numbers), but works together with it,” said Biychuk.

According to the authors of the study, the segment of anti-spam services as part of the subscriber digital security market is already at a high stage of maturity. They also believe that the segment of services for protecting against personal data leaks and monitoring credit history will continue to develop in the near future.
