Most Russians prefer to buy domestic wine. These are the results of a survey conducted by Roskachestvo. TASS.
The publication notes that almost two-thirds (61%) of respondents chose wines produced in the Krasnodar Territory, Crimea and Sevastopol. Favorites include wines from Dagestan (almost 20%) and the Stavropol region (13%).
About a third of Russians buy wine produced in the region where they live. This is most typical for residents of the North Caucasus (74%) and Southern Russia (73%).
When answering the question about the differences between wines, it turned out that almost half of the respondents had only a rough idea about it. But one in five Russians believe they know how one type of wine differs from another. 13% of the participants said that they did not pay attention to the type of wine when choosing wine.
The report states that the survey was conducted online among 1,200 Russian residents over the age of 18 who buy wine at least once a month.
