At the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” held at VDNKh on January 27, within the scope of Industrial Energy Day, the plenary session “Russian Fuel and Energy Complex: New Opportunities for Development” will be held. According to the company’s website, Rosneft’s First Vice President Sergei Menzhinsky will attend this event.

It is stated that at the event, Rosneft will introduce innovative technologies developed and implemented by the company’s experts. Pavilion visitors will be given detailed information about the Digital Space project. Additionally, company experts will present a demonstration of this technology.

The exhibition will also feature robotic systems created to inspect hard-to-reach areas of equipment in the oil refining and petrochemical industries. The presentation “Why oil workers need seismic research and how artificial intelligence helps” will explain the help of modern computer technologies in oil exploration and production.

Additionally, guests will be introduced to modern laser technologies that make it possible to obtain accurate digital copies of industrial facilities and surrounding deposits.

There will also be a lecture on the history of the development of petrochemicals in Russia. Listeners will learn how valuable materials are produced from oil and will be introduced to interesting facts from the history of the development of this industry.

Also for the guests of the exhibition there will be quizzes, screenings of documentaries “Time Machines” and “Live” (about the Zvezda shipyard), popular science films “Oil History”, “Novokuibyshev Oil Refinery”, a sambo master class from around the world. a tournament in LADA Sport Rosneft racing simulators with champion Karina Cherevan and team pilot Maxim Turiev.

Let us recall that Rosneft was the first company in Russia to digitalize the entire oil production process and launched a “digital space” project in 2019. A full-scale “digital twin” allows you to remotely monitor the oil production and transportation process in real time, as well as control the use of personal protective equipment, the movement of equipment and personnel throughout the territory of production assets.
