Denmark donated more than $13 million to Ukraine

Denmark donated 91 million kroner ($13.26 million) to Ukraine to strengthen the cybersecurity of the country’s armed forces and the Ministry of Defense. This was reported by the Danish Ministry of Defense. TASS.

Denmark and other members of the IT coalition signed a cooperation agreement in connection with the meeting of the Contact Group for the Defense of Ukraine on January 24, the ministry said. In addition to Denmark, the coalition also includes Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Ukraine and Estonia. Currently, Luxembourg and Estonia have also announced financial aid.

Danish Minister of Defense Troels Lund Poulsen said the donation is an important contribution to long-term support to strengthen Ukraine’s cyber defense.

Denmark and the Czech Republic on January 23 signed Memorandum of understanding in the field of cooperation in providing assistance to Ukraine. The purpose of the agreement is to ensure the fastest possible supply of high-quality weapons and equipment to Ukraine.
