The head of the Ministry of Finance signed the connection agreement in just a few minutes by phone during the opening of Finance Day at the ministry stand as part of the international exhibition and forum “Russia”.
The new device became operational in the country on January 1, 2024. Its purpose is to allow Russians to save money in a simple and convenient way. The peculiarity of the program is that citizens receive state co-financing of their own investments – up to 36 thousand rubles per year for three years after payment of the first installment.
Participants in the long-term savings program can also apply for a special tax deduction of up to 52 thousand rubles annually, subject to payment of contributions up to 400 thousand rubles.
