Shareholders of TCS Group, the parent body of Tinkoff Bank, have approved the relocation of a group of companies from Cyprus to the Russian special administrative region. This was reported by TASS Based on the statement of the organization.
Relocation is the transfer or registration of a company in another jurisdiction. Moreover, this process does not mean a change in its structure and does not affect the assets and liabilities of the company.
“To confirm that the company continues to cancel its registration in the Republic of Cyprus and begins to register as a company in the Russian Federation,” the statement said.
According to the agency, the decision was taken during an extraordinary meeting of TCS Group shareholders.
Salmon, the financial and technical startup founded by former senior executives of Tinkoff on January 9, I bought Philippine bank Bank St Rosa. As Pavel Fedorov, one of the creators of the project and former co-chairman of Tinkoff, said, the Central Bank of the Philippines allowed the signing of the relevant agreement.
The process is expected to be completed within a few weeks. As a result of the transaction, the startup should own 59.7 percent of the credit institution.
