According to the ministry, food prices increased by 1.49% in December. In particular, food prices increased by 6.14% in 2023 and 0.85% in December, while fruit and vegetable products increased by 24.19% and 6.08%, respectively.
It was noted that chicken eggs became more expensive by 61.35% during the year and by 18.17% in December. While the price of chicken meat increased by 27.77% in 2023, it decreased by 1.9% in December.
