The price of gasoline and diesel fuel increased on January 11 in St. It rose in trading on the St. Petersburg International Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange. This is due to stock market data at the end of the trading day.
The cost of “92” gasoline increased by 1.51 percent to 39,957 rubles per ton, and the cost of “95” gasoline increased by 0.87 percent to 42,834 rubles per ton.
Summer diesel prices increased by 0.96% (50,655 rubles per ton), and off-season diesel prices increased by 1.2% (51,845 rubles per ton). The price of winter diesel increased by 1.21 percent, reaching 60,969 rubles per ton.

Fuel foreign exchange prices in Russia began to rise in the spring of 2023 and remained at record levels for several months. Retail prices have also increased significantly. On September 21, the Russian government banned the export of gasoline and diesel fuel in order to prevent further increases in fuel prices in the domestic market. The ban was lifted on November 17.
