Commissioner of the President of the Russian Federation for the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs Boris Titov said: RIA NewsThat the structure of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Russia does not correspond to the level of economy that the country needs.

“The structure of Russian SMEs does not yet correspond to the level of economy we need. “What is urgently needed today is to radically change it in favor of production,” he said. He added that this is the No. 1 problem of the Russian economy today.

According to him, the majority of domestic small and medium-sized enterprises (37%) continue to work not in production, but in the field of wholesale and retail trade. Titov summarized that the main way to fight inflation at the moment is to establish production in the country and launch new enterprises.
