Alexey Tevanyan, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Egypt, said: RIA NewsMoscow expects the trade turnover between Russia and Egypt to increase by a quarter and exceed $7 billion by the end of 2023.

According to him, the positive dynamics in mutual trade between the two countries, especially Russian exports, will continue in 2023.

“We expect the trade turnover to increase by a quarter and exceed 7 billion dollars by the end of this year,” Tevanyan said.

He also expressed hope that the trend will continue in the future.

Additionally, Tevanyan noted that Egyptian companies are interested in switching to payments in the national currency.
