According to the prosecutor’s office, more than 220 million euros of money of “questionable origin” passed through the accounts of TCR International Limited in France. At the same time, Russian and Ukrainian citizens also participated in some suspicious transactions.
TCR International came to the attention of French law enforcement authorities after it was mentioned in an investigation by American authorities regarding financial networks that may be used by Wagner PMC and its founder Yevgeny Prigozhin, the publication said. The Paris prosecutor’s office confirmed that the US Department of Justice requested legal assistance to France on this matter. However, the investigation carried out by the French authorities has not yet revealed any connection with Prigozhin and his structure.
