Russian authorities will allocate 1.2 billion rubles to provide educational loans with state support of 3% annually. The relevant order was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. In this respect reported on the government website.

Funds for the program will come from the federal budget. Using them, authorities will subsidize over 135.5 thousand affordable loans to students at Russian colleges and universities.

On behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the rate of state-supported education loans was reduced to 3 percent annually.

You can use this loan to receive secondary vocational and higher education starting from the age of 14. The government reimburses banks providing education loans for the difference between preferential interest rates and market interest rates. The entire period of study and nine months after completion can be repaid with interest on the loan only, and the remainder of the loan must be repaid within 15 years. Early repayment of the loan is allowed.
