US President Joe Biden signed a decree on measures against financial structures related to supplies to the military-industrial complex (DIC) of the Russian Federation. This was reported by Web site White House.

It is stated that Biden signed this decree considering Russia’s use of its military-industrial base “to facilitate efforts to undermine security in countries and regions important to US national security.”

The text of the decree also mentions opposing Moscow’s use of “international financial systems for the supply of dual-use products and other important products from third countries.”

The decree also allows the disconnection from the financial system of banks that cooperate with Moscow to circumvent sanctions against the Russian Federation’s defense industry.

Washington may also block imports of products from the Russian Federation for processing in third countries. We’re talking diamonds, seafood and alcohol.
