Slovakia managed to obtain an exemption from EU sanctions in 2024 by allowing oil from the Russian Federation to be used in the production of petroleum products. This was announced by Slovakia’s Minister of Economy Denisa Sakova. “Hit the primer”.
According to him, the decision was made last Monday. This exemption will save jobs at the Slovnaft refinery and increase tax revenues to the Slovak budget.
