In his investment message, Primorye Governor Oleg Kozhemyako announced the launch of a program for the development of unmanned aerial vehicles in the region starting from 2024. This was reported by RIA News.

Last November, regional authorities announced the development of a draft program for the development of unmanned aerial vehicles, which will allow the production of at least 3.8 thousand drones per year by 2030. The main aim of the program is to create conditions for increasing demand for domestic unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and services related to their use.

It was also known in Russia create A new type of surface drone. The operating range of the surface drone will be up to 20 km. It is stated that the project includes the best ideas of Russian ship modeling. The hulls of the boats will be made of composite material, not carbon, as can be seen on radar. Official testing of surface boats is planned for February 2024.
