“Following the damage to the Baltic connector gas pipeline, the European Commission decided to provide urgent financial support to Finland,” the statement said.
The EC announced that the allocated 800 thousand Euros will be used to ensure security in the incident area and to investigate the incident.
Balticconnector is a pipeline that runs under the bottom of the Baltic Sea and connects the gas networks of Estonia, Finland and Latvia.
