Days of the Zvezda shipyard, which will celebrate its 8th anniversary on December 17, opened at the Rosneft pavilion at the Russian Forum. This was reported by the press service of the oil company.
At the opening of the “Star” days, the movie “He is Alive” was shown to the guests of the pavilion. The authors of the film compared the ships with living organisms that were born in the shipyard, were given names and became full-fledged inhabitants of the sea. And it’s all thanks to human engineering.
The stages of shipbuilding, technological production capabilities and equipment of the shipbuilding complex were described in the film.
Guests who watched the movie participated in interactive activities organized by shipyard experts. Visitors of the pavilion tried themselves in the role of electric gas welder and welded the perfect ship seam using augmented reality glasses.
Visitors of the pavilion will be able to learn about vacancies in the shipbuilding complex, working conditions in the Far East, see models of ships under construction and built.
Also, Zvezda employees will hold a master class called “I am a shipbuilder.”
Zvezda is the country’s most high-tech shipyard, specializing in the construction of large-tonnage civilian ships and naval equipment.
The shipyard is being created in the Primorsky Territory of the city of Bolshoi Kamen on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the project operator is the Rosneft company.
The total construction area of the shipyard is over 220 hectares. After the construction of all facilities is completed, Zvezda’s technical equipment will allow the processing of 330 thousand tons of metal per year.
The construction of shipyard facilities is carried out in parallel with the implementation of the production program. In total, Zvezda’s order portfolio includes approximately 60 civilian ships, with more than 20 ships under active construction.
Rosneft notes that for more than 8 years, the Zvezda shipbuilding complex has become the locomotive of the Primorye economy, providing orders to related industries and productions.
Zvezda is the region’s leading employer. Currently, approximately 11 thousand shipyard employees and contractors work in the company.
The international exhibition and forum “Russia” will last on the territory of VDNKh until April 12, 2024. The Rosneft exhibition is located in a pavilion built according to the author’s design project. The pavilion’s digital equipment and interactive exhibits tell visitors about the history, prospects, scientific developments and social projects of the oil industry and the company.
