Honored Lawyer of the Russian Federation Ivan Solovyov said that the amount of property taxes will increase in Russia in 2024. The lawyer talked about this in an interview with the agency “Hit the primer”.

According to Solovyov, the country has completed the cadastral revaluation of real estate, as a result of which their value increased by an average of 20-25%. This will cause an upward change in the 2024 property tax calculation.

The lawyer reminded that, by law, the one-time tax increase cannot exceed 10 percent. However, at the same time, other payments directly related to the cadastral value – state duty, rent, reimbursement price, and not related to it – maintenance, repairs, can also increase significantly.

Soloviev advised owners of apartments and houses to find out in advance the new cadastral value of their property and approximately calculate the amount of tax that must be paid by December 2025.

Previously reportedRental housing prices in major Russian cities increased by an average of a quarter last year and will continue to increase.

Putin before signed the law on the delivery of pensions only by Russian Post.
