The signing of a free trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Iran at the end of December will create additional opportunities for expanding interaction. Russian leader Vladimir Putin stated this during his meetings with Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi. TASS.

“We plan to sign an agreement on the creation of a free trade area between Iran and the EAEU at the end of December. This will create additional opportunities to expand our interaction,” Putin said.

The EAEU includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.

Raisi today invited Putin will visit Iran, which the Russian leader also accepted. Moreover, Putin’s stated Raisi said the other day that he wanted to stop in Tehran on his way to the UAE.
