The length of ski slopes in the Sbera Manzherok resort in Altai will be increased to 40 km by March 2024. This was announced by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sberbank German Gref.

“There will be a 40 km track in March 2024: Now it will be 30, we will put 2 more chairlifts into service, it will be 40 km. “We expect our tourist flow to at least double to 1.2 million within five years,” he said.

The head of Sberbank announced that 10 km of ski slopes were open on December 3, the opening day of the resort. According to him, 30 km will start operating after the snowfall that should happen next week.

Gref also emphasized that the Manzherok resort is currently ready to accommodate 1.2 thousand guests in hotels and up to 6 thousand on the slopes.

In addition, the chairman of the board of directors of Sberbank said that it is planned to build three hotels with 1 thousand rooms in the next three years. Additionally, a congress center and embankment will be built near Lake Manzherok, and a 26-hectare children’s park will be located on the facility grounds.

Let us remind you that the Sberbank resort “Manzherok” is located in the Altai Republic. This is a year-round resort located at the foot of the Malaya Sinyukha mountain, 30 kilometers from Gorno-Altaisk airport. More than 520 thousand people visited the facility by the end of 2022.
