About 43.5% of Russians surveyed plan to spend more money on New Year’s gifts compared to last year. This was reported by “Hit the primer” Citing a study by Seimer IFC.
According to the research, only 15 percent of citizens will save and 2.8 percent have completely given up buying gifts. At the same time, 40.3% of respondents consider it optimal to spend 1-5 thousand rubles on a gift. A quarter are ready to give 5-10 thousand, and 22.5% – more than 10 thousand rubles. Only 13.4% of respondents plan to stay within the 1 thousand ruble limit.
For two-thirds of Russians, the main part of New Year’s spending is gifts. One quarter will spend the most on the festive table, 7.5% on entertainment and 1.9% on clothes.
Many want to receive money, tools and household appliances as gifts. Less often – going to the theater, restaurants, concerts and sporting events.
According to Seimer CEO Roman Makarov, the willingness to spend money on holidays is a sign of the fairly good financial situation of the population and optimism about the economy.
