Sber is developing its own anthropomorphic (human-like in shape and design) robots. Stanislav Kuznetsov, deputy chairman of the bank’s board of directors, told journalists about this at an event dedicated to the opening of the Manzherok resort in the Altai Republic.
“We confirm that Sberbank is developing its own anthropomorphic robots. “Currently, Western companies are in first place, but we are focused on leadership in this direction,” he said.
Sber has been developing in the field of artificial intelligence and robot design for several years. Therefore, the company already has a robot disinfection device designed to automate the disinfection of premises and a robot sommelier for wine sales. But these machines are not humanoid.
