Residents of Russia estimate the amount of pension necessary for a decent life at 60 thousand rubles. This was reported by RBCCiting the results of a survey among SberNPF analysts.
According to research conducted among 15 thousand Russians in cities with a population of 500 thousand or more, citizens’ expectations regarding the size of the pension to ensure a decent standard of living have increased by 10 thousand rubles in three years. If in 2020 the optimal amount was called 49.6 thousand rubles, in 2023 it is already 59.2 thousand rubles.
The highest pension demand is in Moscow and St. Petersburg, with 104 thousand and 83 thousand rubles, respectively. It was made by residents of St. Petersburg. In three years, demands increased by 39 thousand and 28.5 thousand rubles.
In terms of desired pension, the top three were Kazan (72.2 thousand), Voronezh (68.8 thousand) and Samara (66.7 thousand).
