Armenian broker Armbrok will close some accounts of non-residents, including accounts of Russian citizens, due to tightening of domestic requirements for foreigners. This was reported by RBCreferring to the broker’s representative.
According to him, the decision to close the accounts was made by the Armbrok compliance department “after review and tightening of internal requirements for non-residents of Armenia.”
As the broker representative noted, the company has always complied with and complies with the requirements of top custodians. He noted that this decision was not related to additional requirements from Armbrok partners.
The company representative added that non-resident customers’ assets will be transferred to their accounts at other brokers and banks “according to the customers’ withdrawal instructions.”
Broker Armbrok was founded in 1994.
