Especially considering that furniture prices in Russia will increase by more than 15% by the end of the year, you should not expect a decrease in prices. The cost consists, among other things, of fittings and wood panel prices, and since the beginning of the year their prices have already increased by an average of 12%,” noted the expert.
He announced that the prices of kitchen units and bedrooms will increase the most among cabinet furniture.
“Upholstered furniture will also become more expensive, but most manufacturers have already found a suitable and affordable alternative to European upholstery fabric suppliers. “The increase in prices for upholstered furniture will be caused by an increase in logistics and energy costs, as well as an increase in the purchase prices of materials for frames and folding mechanisms,” Egorov explained.
According to him, large furniture retailers are trying to keep prices at the same level as long as possible, and also regularly launch promotions and discounts for buyers of retail chains and online stores.
