Only 8% of Russians surveyed during the Black Friday sale, which started on November 23 and will last until November 23, would take out a loan from a bank, a loan from a microfinance institution or a loan for purchases from friends and relatives: 59 on November 26. The remaining 5% had difficulty answering.

Black Friday is an important event for consumers. Many people prepare for this in advance and deliberately save money so that they do not need to borrow money. At the same time, the population as a whole continues to adhere to the saving behavior pattern. Moneyman press service noted that people are guided by the logic that “it is better to pay less with your own money than to resort to borrowed funds.”

The service conducted the survey between November 13 and November 19, 2023. Among those who will participate in the upcoming sale, 1 thousand participants aged 18 years and over took part throughout Russia.
