Russian billionaires Dmitry Pumpyansky, Mikhail Gutseriev, Gennady Timchenko and Tigran Khudaverdyan, as well as their family members, applied to the European Court of Justice to object to the decision to approve the EU sanctions imposed on them. This was announced in notices published on: Web site court.
All claims were filed individually on Nov. 16, according to court records.
The Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg in September rejected Claims of several large Russian entrepreneurs subject to restrictive measures of the European Union. It was announced that the claim of the Russian businessman and former owner of the Pipe Metallurgical Company Dmitry Pumpyansky, who left one of the beneficiaries and the board of directors of the enterprise after being included in the sanctions list, was rejected. The court also rejected the claims of entrepreneur Gennady Timchenko and former general director of Yandex Tigran Khudaverdyan.
Canada officially in November took off Sanctions against Russian businessman Oleg Boyko.
Previously in the European Union rejected Claims of Russian citizens subject to sanctions.
