The Russian government has decided to lift the temporary ban on summer diesel fuel exports as part of a series of measures to regulate the price situation in the domestic fuel market. It was announced in press service Russian Ministry of Energy.
According to the information provided by the Ministry, in the last two months, the domestic market has been saturated with commercial diesel fuel and motor gasoline, provided that high-volume oil refining in oil refineries continues.
“Wholesale prices for summer diesel fuel on the stock market have fallen,” the publication states.
At the same time, the Ministry of Energy noted that its reserves exceeded 3.2 million tons, and this figure is 14% more than on September 17, when the motor fuel export ban was introduced.
