Kazakh airline Qazaq Air will resume regular passenger flights to Novosibirsk from December. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan. writes about this TASS.

The message says, “As part of the Transport Week in Moscow, the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Karabaev met with the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Vitaly Savelyev.” It was learned that the parties discussed further expansion of cooperation in the field of air communications. An agreement was reached between representatives on the resumption of regular passenger flights by Qazaq Air to Novosibirsk, Russia.

According to the ministry, the airline plans to operate flights up to five times a week on the Astana-Novosibirsk route and up to twice a week on the Ust-Kamenogorsk-Novosibirsk route from December.

The media also reported that Rosaviatsia suggested Russian air carriers will start flights to Pyongyang. The regulator’s representatives are currently discussing with their counterparts in North Korea the possibility of expanding air traffic between the two countries.
