Western restrictions are dealing a blow to global economic growth prospects. This was stated by RIA News Ambassador of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, senior official of APEC, Marat Berdyev.
“So-called sanctions are seriously damaging global economic growth prospects,” the diplomat said.
According to him, restrictions from Western countries fuel poverty, cause energy shortages and increase inflation. The same efforts include the need to transform the international payment settlement system, the ambassador noted. In this context, Berdyev emphasized that APEC member countries are concerned about the possibility of dedollarization of the world economy.
