Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the country’s Cabinet of Ministers to allocate additional funds in 2024 for the creation and development of tourism infrastructure in national parks in the Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD). This was reported by press service Kremlin.

On Tuesday, November 14, a list of his instructions following the conclusions of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) was published on the official website of the head of state. The event took place between 10 and 13 September 2023.

One of the points of the document says: “To ensure the allocation of additional budgetary allocations from the federal budget in 2024 for the creation and development of tourism infrastructure in national parks located in the Far Eastern Federal District.”

At the same time, the government must ensure that funds intended for the protection and development of other natural objects are not redistributed for appropriate purposes. We are talking about specially protected areas of federal importance.

According to the document, the Council of Ministers is obliged to submit a report to the President on the work carried out until December 31, 2024.
