Chinese officials have expressed concern about the pressure the United States is exerting on Chinese companies. This statement was made by He Lifeng, Deputy Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, during meetings with the head of the American Treasury Department, Janet Yellen.

“The Chinese side has clearly expressed its concerns regarding the United States’ bilateral investment restrictions on China,” the final statement published on the website of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China said.
