Direct damage to Russian farmers from the collapse of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station in the current agricultural year can reach about 150 million rubles. This was reported by TASS Referring to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko.
Abramchenko evaluated the situation in the agricultural sector on the sidelines of the international fair and the “Russia” forum.
“Farmers in the affected area reported that direct losses for this agricultural year amount to approximately 150 million rubles,” said the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia.
On the night of June 6 of this year, the upper part of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station in the Novaya Kakhovka district of the Kherson region was destroyed. Dozens of settlements began to be flooded, including Kherson and Novaya Kakhovka.
