Alfa-Bank has opened an IT area at the Higher School of Economics (HSE) Business School, a co-working space for projects and business communication between students, the bank’s press service reported. This is the Alfa Space IT area, where there is a stylish café where you can discuss Fintech with Alfa experts, prepare for seminars or solve problems.
“The Higher School of Economics is an outstanding Russian university, we have a large number of HSE graduates at Alpha and we are proud of it. Alfa-Bank actively supports fintech education in Russia, and cooperation with the Higher School of Economics and the Higher School of Business is an example of how synergy can produce the most valuable technological personnel,” shared Vladimir Verkhoshinsky, General Director of Alfa-Bank.
He expressed his confidence that the Alfa-Bank space will be a place where not one but hundreds of bright ideas that can change the future of the financial sector will be born.
Valery Katkalo, Director of the Higher School of Business Administration at the Higher School of Economics, noted that the university’s portfolio combines the best specialized bachelor’s and master’s programs in Russia with MBA programs and corporate training for leaders of the domestic economy.
“The uniqueness of the Higher School of Business Administration also lies in the large-scale participation of leading Russian companies in the educational process and research projects. We are grateful to Alfa-Bank for the initiative to create a personalized co-working space on the VSB campus and see it as an excellent opportunity to develop systematic cooperation with Russia’s largest universal private bank,” emphasized Katkalo.
Previously, Alfa-Bank and the Higher School of Economics signed a bilateral agreement on the development of education in the field of fintech.
