The document was signed by General Manager Andrey Dmitriev, Head of Customer Transformation Directorate of Sberbank CIB, and Dmitry Sevastyanov, General Manager of Gazprom Space Systems.

The agreement includes cooperation in the field of creation of geoanalytical services in the oil and gas industry with the aim of developing machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies in Russia. In particular, taking into account the experience of Gazprom Space Systems JSC in solving aerospace monitoring problems when developing new geoanalytical services to solve monitoring problems in the oil and gas industry based on the Sberbank Geometry geoanalytical platform.

“The agreement defines the main purpose of our interaction – the creation of an innovative aviation monitoring system “SMOTR”, which will include ultra-high-resolution optoelectronic satellites and radar satellites for all-weather monitoring of objects and regions. Bank experts will participate in the development and testing of the system software,” Dmitriev said.

Let us recall that the Geometry geoplatform allows you to process images from satellites, drones and video cameras, classify individual objects such as fields, forests and buildings and analyze their properties according to various parameters.

It is stated that the use of pre-labeled data makes it easier to create artificial intelligence products by reducing development time by 4 times compared to creating similar products from scratch.
