St. The St. Petersburg Arbitration Court upheld Gazprom Export’s claim and prohibited the Polish-Russian company Europol GAZ from continuing arbitration proceedings in Stockholm. This was reported by TASS.

The claim related to the ban of Europol GAZ, the owner of the Polish section of the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline, from continuing the process at the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.

In May, Europol GAZ filed a $1.4 billion lawsuit against Gazprom in connection with the interruption of gas supplies to Poland due to its refusal to pay for the resource in rubles. Moreover, the company planned to receive 220 million as an outstanding debt for gas transportation, while the company would receive 1.2 billion in lost profits, since it was deprived of the opportunity to ship Russian gas.

At the beginning of September, the Moldovan government decided He stated that he would not pay Gazprom and that the country was ready to pay only 8.6 million euros of the total debt to the company of 709 million euros.
