The European Union is ready to allocate only half of the planned amount of funds to Ukraine for next year. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Alexey Sobolev during the telethon. TASS.
“He announced that this was not 18 Euros as planned, but 9 billion Euros,” he said.
The total amount of aid promised by the EU to Kiev until 2027 is 50 billion Euros, of which 39 billion Euros should go to closing the budget deficit.
According to him, the Ukrainian leadership is currently working with the EU to ensure that “€18 billion of this €39 billion will come next year.”
