More than half of Russians surveyed (58%) would like to receive paid leave as a gift from their employer. The tradition of giving gifts to employees or rewarding them for their achievements exists in 86% of Russian companies. Another 14% of participants only dream of their employers implementing such a practice.
If it is gift money, 58% will prefer an amount of up to 10 thousand rubles. 20% will choose between 10 and 20 thousand, and 21% will choose over 20 thousand.
At the same time, according to 8% of respondents, they only receive overtime and stress as a “gift” from their employers. 13% would accept a quiet job without nagging as a gift.
Most often, companies give employees gifts in honor of a birthday or anniversary (82%), in exchange for long-term service, for example, working for the company for 5-10 years (69%), for a wedding and the birth of a child. (68%) or in honor of public holidays (66%). But nearly half (48%) receive nominal bonuses from the company, such as notebooks, flowers or merchandise.
The majority of respondents (90%) support the idea of corporate gifts: this approach makes employees feel important (70%), motivates them to work better (59%) and raises their morale in daily work (49%).
