Karen Hovsepyan, leader of the New Black Grain Corridor initiative, said that Russia and China signed the largest contract for grain supply. His words on the sidelines of the business forum held in Beijing on the eve of the opening of the third international “One Belt – One Road” forum TASS.

According to Hovsepyan, the contract amount is almost 2.5 trillion rubles ($25.7 billion). He stated that the agreement covers the supply of 70 million tons of grain, legume and oilseeds for 12 years.

Hovsepyan noted that this initiative will contribute to the normalization of the export structure within the framework of the Belt and Road.
