More than half of Russian entrepreneurs (58%) have been working without a holiday for the last two years. According to a survey by the business bank “Blank” (available from socialbites.ca), 31% of vacationers go on vacation once a year.
Businessmen explained that they do not go on vacation due to irregularity of schedules and the frequent occurrence of force majeure (35% of respondents) and difficulties in the transfer and follow-up of current projects (24%). 16% of entrepreneurs did not go on vacation due to financial reasons.
Only 9% of entrepreneurs who went on vacation were completely disconnected from their work duties. Most business people tried to control all processes or at least keep a minimum presence on calls, as well as respond to urgent letters via business email.
65% of respondents think a holiday lasting one to two weeks is ideal. However, most respondents took a week or less of leave.
48% of respondents spent their holidays traveling, and 37% preferred active recreation in nature. 15% of participants preferred the beach.
Bank for Business “Blank” conducted a telephone survey in October 2023. 2.5 thousand entrepreneurs from 45 regions of Russia, mainly from cities with a population of one and a half million, took part.
Previously, flight tickets to Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia were noticeably cheaper price dropped.
