In Russia, the need for workers in agriculture, finance and insurance activities, real estate and trade sectors will decrease by 2023. This is stated in the forecast of the Ministry of Economic Development, according to the publication report. RBC.
According to the Ministry’s estimate, the cumulative decrease in labor demand in these regions will reach 720 thousand people. In general, it is estimated that the personnel need will be 73.1 million people by 2030.
The demand for those employed in agriculture will decrease by 300 thousand people from 4.5 million in 2022, in trade by 200 thousand people from 13.3 million, and in finance and insurance activities by 100 thousand people from 1.3 million. real estate professionals are also expected to decrease by 100 thousand (from 1.9 million in 2022).
The Ministry of Economic Development also foresees an increase in the demand for personnel in the fields of production, healthcare, transportation and storage, as well as scientific activities, information technology and communications.
