27 percent of those surveyed spent their holidays at home. 9% of respondents have holidayed at the cottage and 2% of respondents have gone abroad. 17 percent did not go on vacation this summer.
23% of respondents spent less than 15 thousand rubles on vacation. At the same time, 22% of the respondents needed from 50 to 100 thousand rubles, and another 14% stated that an amount from 15 to 30 thousand was enough for them, at the same time, 13% wanted the holiday to cost 100 thousand rubles or more. The rest said other amounts.
51% of respondents took out a loan or loan for a holiday.
The most popular format was outdoor recreation; one in three respondents (31%) chose this. Another 15% chose beach resorts, while 9% went to explore new cities. 4% of respondents were fond of active recreation and hiking. But the majority decided to combine different types of recreation in their holidays. 38% of those surveyed did so.
“We are seeing clear signs that consumer optimism is increasing. Despite possible financial deficits in the family budget, Russians spend money on holidays, which shows confidence in their material well-being in the medium term,” Seimer analysts commented.
The survey was conducted in September 2023 among subscribers of the MFC “Zaymer” official group on VKontakte. The number of subscribers of the community is over 120 thousand.
