They discussed the grain agreement and the terms of the initiative to supply 1 million tons of Russian grain to Turkey at a preferential price with the financial support of Qatar. This issue was discussed by the presidents of Russia and Turkey, Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in Sochi on September 4.
The parties emphasized that this project does not replace the grain agreement that was previously suspended on July 17.
