Russian pork will reach China in 2024

Domestic pork will begin to be supplied to China in April-May next year. This was stated in press service Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.

“Pork from Russia will begin to reach Chinese shelves in the second and third quarters of 2024,” the ministry said.

According to the press service, in order to start exporting pork to the Chinese market, Russia needs to take a number of actions (signing a protocol on requirements for exporting pork, agreeing on a veterinary certificate, certification of Russian enterprises, etc.). It will last from three months to a year.
